According to the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE), starting salaries for 2016 were approximately £29,500. Salaries for more experienced chemical and process professionals can be more in the region of £72,000 - 81,000*.

The Institution of Chemical Engineer (IChemE) is the professional body for chemical, biochemical and process engineers. IChemE provide a range of training courses and conferences to continue professional development within the industry.
