Overview
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Welder Laborers for projects located in and around Grand Rapids, MI. This is a full time opportunity with a pay rate of $20-$30/hour based on experience & skill level. If you are a Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:

Fabrication of parts such as:
-
Ventilation shafts
-
Exhaust hoods
-
Dust collection piping
-
Material handling equipment
-
- Layout parts
- Positioning & removing work pieces
- Cleaning & grinding metal
- Other tasks assigned
Responsibilities
-
MIG Welding Experience (16 gauge to 3/8” mild steel, including galvanized)

Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting engineering drawings and work specifications

Ability to fit and join sheet metal parts using welding, soldering, and related tools
- Must have basic tools of the trade and standard PPE
- Must be able to pass a weld test
- Must a background check & drug screen
