MIG Welder

Location: Flint, MI
Pay: $17.95–$19.95/hr
Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: 6:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

• 2nd Shift: 4:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. (includes $0.50/hr shift premium)

Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking experienced MIG Welders to join a manufacturing team in Flint, MI. In this role, you will weld and fabricate metal components according to blueprints, specifications, and quality standards. You’ll operate welding equipment, inspect completed welds, and maintain a safe and organized work area. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on steel components and assemblies

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specifications

• Set up and adjust welding equipment as needed

• Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity

• Follow all shop safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace

Qualifications:

• Previous MIG welding experience required

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

• Strong attention to detail and quality standards

• Reliable attendance and ability to work well in a team setting

Requirements:

• Must have weld hood, steel toed boots or shoes, hammer, wire cutter, and cotton pants

• Must be able to pass a weld test
