Job Description
FINTEC recruit is actively seeking Welder & Fabricators for a leading engineering/manufacturing client based in Fife, Scotland. This is a fantastic permanent position within a production environment, focused on heavy engineering and the marine industry.

Position: Welder
Employment Type: Permanent, full-time (Monday to Friday) with overtime opportunity at enhanced rates
Salary/ rates information on application. permanent staff have 8% matched pension contributions, life assurance, share scheme, generous holiday allowance, and more
Temporary staff can claim an extra daily travel allowance,
Both roles have additional payments for back shift or night shift working.
Working Monday to Thursday, (Friday is overtime working and enhanced rates)
Flexible Working: Flexible work arrangements available
Responsibilities:
· Collaborate within a team of Welders, focusing on tooling maintenance
· Conduct basic visual inspections on completed welds, adhering to project requirements and industry standards
· Address weld defects and determine their causes, while maintaining welding plant functionality
· Utilize skills in Arc Air gouging, grinding, and burning
Skills and Experience Required:
· Prior experience as a Welder in heavy engineering environments is advantageous
· Proficient in welding processes, with the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when necessary
· Hold a welding certificate and welding certifications, and demonstrate the ability to pass an on-site welder pre-appointment test
You will be required to pass a baseline UK Security clearance.
