The Vendor Relationship and Program Manager successfully manages and grows partnership with key strategic vendors. This position coordinates with multiple internal department – sales, services, proposals and contracts, marketing – and external vendor parties to execute aligned business strategy and growth targets within the K-12 education technology market.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Vendor partnership level attainment
  • Hardware revenue and profitability growth targets
  • Service attach rates
  • Marketing Investment and partnership execution

Essential Functions:

Key Duties/Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Develop strategic marketing/product line business plans and marketing programs to support sales in the K-12 education sector
  • Create and maintain strong vendor relationships while identifying and coordinating new partnership opportunities
  • Execute strategies that align with vendor goals and initiatives, set and achieve business targets, and positively impact revenue and profitability
  • Understand and leverage vendor sales processes and go-to-market strategies
  • Negotiate vendor partnerships and engagement; support the Sales Team as appropriate
  • Analyze market data to identify trends and develop strategic direction and approach to market. Stay ahead of market developments and changes.
  • Develop, curate, and present vendor strategic plans in a variety of ways to internal and external audiences
  • Regularly meet or exceed goals

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:

  • Associate/Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or 3 to 5 years of related work experience
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrates advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferred – Experience in working within vendor relationship management
  • Preferred – Proven ability to identify and execute solutions to problems
  • Preferred - Working knowledge of technology and K12 education industries
