Full-Time | In-Person | Temp-to-Hire


ViaBot is leading the way in autonomous property management solutions for commercial properties. We’re looking for a hands-on, mechanically-minded Traveling Robot Maintenance Technician to join our Florida team. This is not your typical desk job — you’ll be on the road (and sometimes in the air), keeping our fleet of robots running smoothly across Orlando and beyond.


What You’ll Do:

  • Travel locally (30%) and out-of-state (10–40%) to maintain and repair robots at client sites
  • Perform routine inspections, technical debugging, cleaning, and repairs
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues (often alongside our tech team)
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs using our internal tools
  • Use hand and power tools — everything from allen wrenches to angle grinders
  • Prioritize and schedule repairs independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Handle shipping/receiving of robots and parts for service

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in industrial maintenance or a related field
  • Solid understanding of mechanical systems and troubleshooting
  • Comfortable working independently or in a small team, with minimal supervision
  • Strong communicator (oral and written)
  • Detail-oriented and an excellent problem-solver
  • Able to lift 30+ lbs unassisted
  • Willing and able to travel frequently, sometimes on short notice (including weekends)
  • Valid US work authorization and driver’s license
  • Experienced with hand/power tools
  • Fluent in English
  • Not a remote position
  • Train servicing agents at remote sites as neededRespond to maintenance requests quickly and maintain healthy inventory levels

Bonus Points:

  • Experience building/troubleshooting electrical or mechanical systems
  • Leadership skills

Schedule & Benefits:

  • Typical hours: 11am–7pm, Monday–Friday (occasional earlier/later shifts depending on workload)
  • Temp-to-Hire

Location:
This is an in-person role based in California, with regular travel required.
