We are seeking a Transportation Manager to become an integral part of our team! Responsible for all activities in the transportation function. Ensuring customer orders are delivered accurately and on-time. Relies on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reports to management.

Crook Brothers is a full line fresh produce and dairy distributor that services food industries throughout five states including WV, VA, OH, NC, and TN. Responsibilities:

· Experience in the food industry preferred

· Valid WV Driver’s License (CDL Preferred) and clean driving record

· Knowledge and familiarity with government regulations, legal issues, safety protocols and procedures

· Ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy

· Knowledge of logistics, delivery processes, quality control and other techniques for maximizing the effective distribution of perishable products

· Ability to work in a fast paced and sometimes stressful environment, while keeping an affable demeanor

· Responsible for managing delivery truck daily logs and driver compliance with safety practices

· Manage labor and make sure drivers are DOT compliant
