We are seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join our fast-paced and growing logistics team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and has strong experience planning a mixed fleet.



Key Responsibilities:

Effectively route a mixed fleet of vans and HGVs for nationwide home deliveries



*



Plan and manage routing for up to 40 vehicles, including multiday routes



*



Continuously review and adjust daily routes to maximise efficiency and service levels



*



Communicate clearly with drivers, transport admin, and management



*



Ensure all routing complies with transport regulations and company procedures



*



Proactively identify and resolve any issues affecting delivery performance



Requirements:



*



Previous experience as a Transport Planner, ideally with mixed fleets and home-delivery or multi-drop operations



*



Strong geographical knowledge and understanding of efficient routing principles



*



Ability to perform well under pressure in a busy, fast-moving environment



*



Excellent communication and organisational skills



*



Experience with Maxoptra routing software is an advantage but not essential
