Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Tower Technician to join our team, specializing in cellular maintenance and repair. This role involves working at heights to maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade cellular towers and related infrastructure, ensuring optimal network performance.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of cellular towers, antennas, and related equipment.

Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with company, client, and regulatory standards.

Replace or upgrade equipment, cables, and hardware as needed.

Utilize test equipment to verify system performance and signal quality.

Follow all safety protocols, including fall protection and RF exposure guidelines.

Complete detailed reports documenting work performed, materials used, and site conditions.

Collaborate with crew members, foremen, and project managers to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in tower climbing, cellular maintenance, or related telecommunications work (will train the right candidate).

Knowledge of RF systems, coax, and fiber but not required.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and work orders.

Strong commitment to safety and adherence to industry best practices.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL a plus.

Must be willing and able to relocate to Rapid City, SD before start date.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to climb and work at heights exceeding 200 feet.

Capability to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and travel as required.
Compensation & Benefits:

$45/day per diem for meals while traveling.
