Technical Account Manager\n\nNorthampton | Full-time | Hybrid working available\n Up to £45,000 + quarterly bonus (realistic package c£55k)\n\nAre you a commercially savvy, technically curious account manager who loves solving problems and building lasting customer relationships? There's no cold calling-you'll be nurturing warm leads, responding to inbound enquiries, and unlocking opportunities within existing accounts.
You'll be the most senior person in sales, acting as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them navigate complex product ranges and technical solutions.\n\nWhat you'll be doing\n\nManaging and growing existing accounts\nBuilding strong relationships and spotting opportunities for growth\nLeading the full sales lifecycle-from enquiry to post-sale support\nCollaborating with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams to deliver smart, tailored solutions\nMentoring junior team members and bringing energy to a quiet but capable team\nUsing CRM tools to track leads, actions, and customer journeys\nOccasionally visiting high-value customers, with most interactions via Teams, phone, or emailWhat we're looking for\n\nA consultative, customer-first mindset\nStrong technical aptitude and willingness to learn\nExperience in account management or solution-based sales (ideally in a product-led industry)\nExcellent communication and relationship-building skills\nSomeone who's proactive, enthusiastic, and thrives in a collaborative environment \n\nPlease be aware this advert will remain open until the vacancy has been filled.
