We have a strong technological base and hold a leading market position in the field of optical diagnostics of semiconductor devices. We currently have an opening for a “Systems Integration Engineer” with experience in final assembly and testing of automated laser and imaging systems
NOTE: Local / Bay Area / Silicon Valley, California candidates ONLY please
This is an opportunity for professional growth as well as for meeting interesting technical challenges. Your duties will be diverse – from high level system integration to system upgrades, enhancements, testing and troubleshooting – to assistance with installation and customer support. On-site training for service and up to 25% travel (occasional global travel) is required for rolling out new products in the field.
Requirements:
· System-Level integration and bring-up.
· Hardware and software integration across subsystems.
· Debug, test, and validation activities.
· Supporting transition from development to production builds.
· Attention to procedures and to details.
· A working knowledge of optical imaging systems and their alignment, understanding of automated motion controlled systems, experience with an oscilloscope and various other electronic test instruments.
· Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
· Troubleshooting in a logical and systematic fashion.
· B.S. degree in a related Engineering discipline. Looking for 2 to 10(+) years (entry to senior level) of experience with complex automated systems.
Salary Range:
$90k - $150k
