Systems Engineering Manager

Copello have partnered with an established defence engineering business in the recruitment of an experienced Systems Engineering Manager to lead the delivery of complex MBSE solutions on a high-profile defence programme.



You'll be at the forefront of systems modelling and architecture development, working closely with key stakeholders across government and industry.



What You’ll Be Doing:

Lead and manage the delivery of architecture and modelling artefacts across the whole programme



*



Embed cost, schedule, and availability goals into the whole boat model



*



Collaborate with stakeholders from government and industry



*



Champion team development and support the long-term growth of the systems engineering function



*



Guide the implementation of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) approaches across the programme



*



Manage and motivate a team of engineers, overseeing both internal staff and external suppliers



Your Skills and Experience:



Essential:



*



BSc in Engineering or equivalent STEM discipline



*



Proven leadership experience in technical environments



*



Strong background in systems and model-based systems engineering



*



Experience engaging with both customers and suppliers
