What will you be doing?
As an Automotive Systems Engineer, you will join our GAYDONteam (hybrid) to support our activities within the automotive sector.
We are seeking a talented Systems Engineer with expertise in Catia Magic Draw and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) skills to join our team at Alten. As a Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of cutting-edge HV battery and HV systems. If you have a minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering and a passion for innovation, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
1. Systems Design and Modelling: Utilize Catia Magic Draw and MBSE techniques to design, model, and analyse complex systems, with a focus on HV battery and HV systems.
2. Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse system requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals.
3. MBSE Implementation: Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering methodologies to capture, trace, and manage system requirements, architecture, and design throughout the product development lifecycle.
4. HV Battery and HV Systems: Leverage your experience in HV battery and HV systems to contribute to the development of safe, reliable, and efficient solutions.
5. Validation and Testing: Participate in system validation activities, including testing, verification, and validation to ensure system functionality and compliance with industry standards.
6. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of system designs, models, and test plans.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and software developers, to achieve project objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Automotive engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering.
- Proficiency in Catia Magic Draw for system modelling and design.
- Strong MBSE skills, with a track record of implementing MBSE methodologies.
- Desirable experience in HV battery and HV systems.
- Knowledge of system engineering standards and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
