Sustainability/Senior Sustainability Consultant 



Location: Manchester



Salary: £35,000 - £60,000 DOE



We are looking for a passionate Sustainability/Senior Sustainability Consultant to join our client’s Manchester-based team. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of sustainable design and decarbonisation, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams on innovative projects across the built environment.



Key responsibilities:



Lead the delivery of environmental and wellbeing assessments (BREEAM, WELL, HQM, etc.) from early concept stages through to completion.

Carry out a range of modelling and assessments, including embodied carbon calculations, circular economy studies, building performance simulation, operational energy modelling, and overheating analysis.

Mentor junior team members, contributing to their technical development and project delivery skills.

Support clients in creating forward-thinking sustainability and energy strategies for both new and existing developments.What we’re looking for:



A background in sustainability consultancy or engineering consultancy.

Experience and competence in: Energy performance modelling, Whole life carbon assessments, Net-zero carbon strategies

A relevant degree in engineering, environmental science, building physics or a related field.

A strong interest in sustainable design and the ambition to create meaningful environmental impact.

Experience working within the built environment sector.Benefits:
