These systems are predominantly electronic, software based systems, many of which are built using Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) computer hardwareHelp the Maintainer solve the problem themselves to promote self-sufficiencyLiaise with the appropriate 3rd Line System Expert (HITACHI Support) if the issue cannot be resolvedAbout The Profile Required Skills/Knowledge:High level of computer/control system skillsExperience of working on electronic systems for utilitiesDriving licenseOther information:Working hours will be a nominal 40 hours per week, but flexible working is essential to accommodate client maintenance periods; the Support Maintenance Engineer will be on-call for some nights and weekendsCandidates from Oil & Gas and Railway are likely to be the most suitable, but a practical IT Support engineer used to installing software might also be consideredEducation: Graduating from a suitable Engineering or IT degreeExperience: 2-3 yearsLocalization: Within 30 minutes of the Brussels subway by carLanguages: Level of English/French, both technical and fluent, which allows you to evolve easily in our international and multicultural environmentWe thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those under consideration will be contacted.
