Finding solutions to the world's biggest problems has never been more important than right now.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGThe Production, Sales, & Inventory (PSI) Senior Demand Planner will demonstrate accountability for directly managing PSI Lead Material Planner(s) and for the development of demand plans that will drive material & production forecasts to ensure timely and cost-effective customer deliveries. In this role you will work with regional Commercial team members to understand the demand plan, aligning to sales strategy and translating into production, shipping, and inventory forecasts. The PSI Senior Demand Planner is an analytical thinker, strong communicator, displays leadership skills, aligns with Commercial / Finance teams, and is able to manage conversations at various levels of the organization. The individual is empowered to make decisions and direct adjustments to the plan, using modeling techniques derived from qualitative data, internal and external factors, while representing the supply chain and as a customer advocate when engaging with other functions. As the PSI Senior Demand Planner, you will: ·Work closely with the NAM Commercial team to understand overall demand and specific market segment needs, and translate into inventory and manufacturing run rates to achieve business operating commitments ·Ensure flawless fulfillment through continuously monitoring and managing manufacturing scheduling and material supply flow and processes ·Develop and ensure an optimum demand-manufacture-inventory-distribution model to drive the most efficient flow of materials and products at a value cost, service and inventory ·Continually analyze the network and implement effective actions and delivery solutions that drive cost, service and cash ·Develop processes, metrics and cross-functional operating rhythms to ensure cross-functional alignment, focus on critical needs, and drive performance ·Drive projects and process improvements with cross-functional teams ·Pursue PSI/supply chain functional excellence in all areas ·This list is not all-inclusive and may include other duties as assigned and necessary for the business. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOROur Ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:Core Qualifications:·Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in operations, supply chain management or business with a minimum of 2 years of experience (or a high school diploma/ GED with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar or related role) ·MRP experience and knowledge in ERP system software (preferably SAP) ·Certification in supply chain APICS, certified in production and inventory management (CPIM) or lean/six sigma (Black Belt Lean/Six Sigma training is preferred)·Prior supply chain operations and manufacturing experience (plant (Chemical) experience preferred)·Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills·Strong planning, analytical and critical thinking skills·Ability to work well in a fast-paced and challenging environment·Result oriented mindset·Project work experience preferred·Ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems through data gathering and analytics·Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with diverse teams and all levels of the organization in order to adapt / drive change across functions and dynamic business environmentEligibility Requirements:·Ability and willingness to be part of the Department of Homeland Security’s Personnel Surety Program (dependent upon the WTS NAM site location)Note: The preferred location for this role is Trevose, PA, however other WTS sites in NAM will be considered.
