Supplier Quality Engineer

Experienced Supplier Manufacturing Quality Engineers able to travel 75% to work in partnership with our supply base to deliver manufacturing excellence in delivering quality, sustainable capacity and flawless launch on time. Primary Deliverables & Activities Include due diligence in execution of APQP, PPAP, Pro-Active Failure Mode Avoidance, Capacity Assessments & Improvements, 8D disciplines, Urgency Issues resolution and communication. Support of other activities necessary to protect supply & quality. Require compliance to all organizational and corporate training requirements and SIM process compliance. Close Collaboration with all Client & Supplier Cross-Functional Teams to deliver objectives.

Skills Required:

·         Experienced in manufacturing process(es) of the responsible component commodities

·         Skilled in Problem Solving and Quality systems and tools

Skills Preferred:

·         Computer skills to utilize softwares required for all activities

Experience Required:

·         Manufacturing Process & Quality Tools

Experience Preferred:

·         6-Sigma Disciplines, Training & Execution

Education Required:

·         Bachelor of Science/ Engineering, or academic equivalent

Education Preferred:

·         Commodity Manufacturing Industry Experience
