OUC - The Reliable One,  an industry leader and the second largest municipal utility in Florida committed to serving the community and the environment, is presently seeking an Electrician II to join the Transmission, Substation & Sys. Protect division.

We are looking for an experienced Substation Electrician with expertise in the maintenance of substation equipment.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and testing substation equipment and assisting crew in performing High Voltage (HV) & Low Voltage (LV) switching activities. We are looking for an electrician with experience assisting multi-person crew in maintaining and testing all substation equipment and preparing vehicle for next assignment to insure vehicle, tools and equipment are in good working order.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in substation construction, maintenance, and testing or two (2) years as an OUC Substation Electrician III and 6 months as OUC Substation Apprentice
• Class A CDL
• Must possess a current and valid Florida Driver’s License
• Tanker endorsement (preferred)
• High school diploma or GED

Salary Range: Starting at $34.64 per hour (Estimated $72,053.28 annually) with a structured step progression system and performance-based pay increases every 6 months up to $41.28 (Estimated $85,872.80 annually)
