EvolveImmune Therapeutics is a next- immunotherapy company pioneering a new class of precision cancer medicines to transform patient outcomes, compared to current solid tumor therapies. Our first-in-category biotherapeutic EVOLVE platform utilizes integrated T cell co-stimulation to directly target tumor cells to deliver durable, tissue-localized anti-tumor adaptive immune responses. Our newly expanded, state-of-the-art 16,000+ square foot laboratory and office space located in the New Haven, CT biotechnology corridor and our laboratory footprint in Farmington, CT support in-house biologics, immunobiology, and translational activities, enabling our rapid pipeline progress. This includes EV-104, our lead solid tumor program rapidly advancing toward IND filing.


The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Scientist to join our dynamic Biotherapeutics team and contribute to the characterization and development of our next- immuno-oncology pipeline. This role will focus on utilizing LC-MS, biochemical and biophysical methods to analyze and characterize the structural integrity, functionality, and stability of these innovative molecules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute LC-MS workflows for biotherapeutics characterization, including intact and subunit mass analysis, peptide mapping, glycan profiling, and post-translational modification analysis.
  • Perform analytical, biochemical, and biophysical assays using techniques such as SEC, HIC, DSC, ELISA, SPR, and BLI to assess purity, stability, aggregation propensity, and target binding kinetics and affinity.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of project goals and deliver accurate and timely results.
  • Analyze and interpret experimental data to draw meaningful conclusions, present findings and recommendations to team and management.
  • Address and resolve technical challenges related to LC-MS instrumentation and data analysis.
  • Stay current with advancement in LC-MS and biophysical techniques, implementing innovative approaches where applicable, contribute to scientific publications.

Qualifications

  • PhD in Protein Biochemistry and Biophysics, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience; or MS with 5+ years, or BS with 8+ years of experience in industry settings.
  • Strong expertise in LC-MS techniques for protein analysis, including hands-on experience with instruments and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in biophysical methods for protein characterization, particularly in analyzing antibody stability and target interactions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills for presenting complex data to diverse teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-disciplinary environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience with protein expression in mammalian systems and purification techniques.
  • Familiarity with the structure and function of T cell engagers and their unique analytical challenges.
  • Experience in immune cell biology and functional cell-based assays relevant to T cell engagers.
