The Role
DGM’s Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) is a high-growth area that enables electric utilities to monitor, manage, control, and optimize the grid. As an Intermediate ADMS Project Consultant, you will be involved in delivering systems to our customers, using your utility operations, ADMS systems, and business process expertise to advise utility clients during ADMS implementations. You will engage with all levels of the utility, from field crews to executives, and collaborate with internal teams including ADMS Application Engineers, Architecture and Product Solution teams, and Software Development. You will influence product direction and serve as a voice for the utility within DGM. This role reports to the Manager, ADMS Project Consulting.
Your Impact
Lead business process reviews for electric utility clients to understand current and future processes.
Analyze contractual requirements for ADMS projects to identify potential concerns.
Provide insights, guidance, and recommendations based on utility knowledge to clients, project teams, and product development.
Promote project change management to support knowledge sharing within ADMS projects.
Stay informed about technological advancements and industry innovations in digitalization, analytics, security, markets, and operational technology within the electric grid sector.
Support ADMS project implementation through analysis, design, and testing activities.
What You'll Need
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
At least 5 years of project implementation or operational experience, preferably in the utility industry.
Willingness to travel up to 25%, domestically and internationally.
Knowledge of industry standards and trends.
Experience with electrical utility control systems (SCADA, EMS, GMS, DMS, OMS, DERMS) or utility operations/support roles.
Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of Business Analysis and Change Management concepts.
Strong customer service .
The salary range is $99,400 - $124,300, with potential bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, insurance, and retirement plans.
