Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of solar construction projects — planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution, and closeout.
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and field personnel to ensure timely and quality completion of work.
  • Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure alignment with client and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor construction progress, quality control, and safety compliance per OSHA and company standards.
  • Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Prepare and maintain project schedules using tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
  • Track and report project budgets, change orders, and cost controls.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, inspectors, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and project meetings to resolve issues proactively.
  • Ensure all documentation, permits, and compliance requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on commercial and industrial solar projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, civil, and structural scopes related to solar installations.
  • Proven experience managing subcontractors and vendors.
  • In-depth understanding of OSHA safety regulations, quality standards, and permitting requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field .

  • OSHA 30 Certified
  • NERC Security Certified
  • Lean / Six Sigma / Agile Project Management
