Software Engineering Technical Lead

PRTR is partnering with an award-winning Technology Development and Data Science venture whose mission is to innovate, develop and bring cutting-edge AI and Machine Learning technologies to solve complex challenges for Enterprise companies.We are searching for a Software Engineering Technical Lead who is well-versed in the latest JavaScript and Cloud technologies. The Technical Lead will be responsible for developing cutting-edge AI and Machine Learning solutions. This is a unique role whereby you will be hands-on with the tech and manage a team of 5+ Software Engineers.Responsibilities Being hands-on coding in JavaScript (Node.JS/ React.JS).Developing high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility.Supervising and overseeing the technical aspects of multiple projects.Being able to explain highly complex technical messages to non-technical stakeholders.Growing your development and engineering team.Developing and implementing technical strategy.Leading daily operations of the development team, assisting and developing your team members’ technical capabilities, developing best practice methodologies to improve team productivity, and conducting performance reviews.Providing mentorship and knowledge sharing to junior members.Working across functional teams and entities to ensure products’ success.Analyzing and solving any problems accordingly. Requirements At least 5+ years of experience in software development with a minimum of 1+ years in the management role.Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture. Experience developing IT and cloud infrastructure in large-scale projects.Experience coding in various languages (React.JS, Node.JS, and more). Experience in agile software development and cross-functional team environments.Familiarity with Jira or other project management tools.Passion for software products, start-ups, and cutting-edge technology.Sense of ownership in individual performance and its impact on the company’s success.Understand Machine Learning or Deep Learning frameworks is a plus.English proficiency is a plus but not required.
