The Opportunity\n\nWe are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented SAM Systems Specialist to lead the operational management and technical implementation of tools, data, and workflows supporting our enterprise Software Asset Management (SAM) and SaaS optimization strategy.\n\nThis role will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, and ongoing administration of SAM and SaaS management platforms, ensuring accurate software inventory, license tracking, and actionable insights to support compliance, cost savings, and operational efficiency.\n\nKey Responsibilities, You’ll be accountable for:\n\nLead the evaluation, and deployment of enterprise SAM and SaaS management platforms.\n\nIntegrate tools with core IT systems (e.g., SCCM, CMDB, procurement, SSO) for seamless data flow.\n\nBuild and maintain a centralized software inventory for both on-premise and SaaS applications.\n\nDevelop and implement strategies for license entitlement tracking, usage data collection, and renewal management.\n\nCreate dashboards and reports to enable insights on compliance, usage trends, and vendor performance.\n\nDrive cost savings through license optimization and proactive subscription management.\n\nSupport audit readiness and compliance through accurate, documented entitlement and usage data.\n\nCollaborate with Procurement, IT, Finance, Legal, and Security to establish and enforce governance policies.\n\nDocument platform processes, integrations, and operational best practices.\n\nYour Profile & Experience\n\nExtensive knowledge of Software Asset Management practices, with hands-on expertise in managing SaaS environments.\n\nProven experience in implementing and operationalizing platforms such as Flexera, ServiceNow SAM Pro, Snow, Zylo, Torii, BetterCloud, etc.\n\nStrong grasp of software licensing models, SaaS lifecycle management, and optimization strategies.\n\nSolid technical background in tool integration, APIs, data normalization, and dashboard/report creation.\n\nFamiliarity with ITSM platforms, CMDBs, SCCM, SSO systems, and procurement tools.\n\nKnowledge of vendor audit processes and entitlement management.\n\nExcellent communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.\n\nRelevant certifications (e.g., CSAM, ITAM Foundation) and knowledge of frameworks like ITIL and ISO/IEC 19770 are highly desirable.\n\nWhy work at Just Eat Takeaway.com? \n\nJust Eat Takeaway.com is a leading global online food delivery marketplace headquartered in Amsterdam and listed on the London Stock Exchange. \n\nWe've built our business on having the widest choice available on our platform – connecting millions of customers with over 155,000 restaurants across 24 countries - with over 100 different cuisines from local independents to globally famous restaurants, available to order via our app and website. \n\nWe provide the platform and tools to help independent restaurants move online and reach a significantly broader customer base – to generate increased orders and grow their businesses.
