Site Manager – Commercial Refurbishment | Yeovil, Somerset | Permanent Role
We’re partnering with a well-established main contractor to recruit a Site Manager for a commercial refurbishment project in Yeovil. This is a permanent opportunity to lead a high-quality scheme from the front, with a company known for delivering complex projects safely, efficiently, and to an exceptional standard.
The Role
As Site Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and in line with strict health & safety and quality standards. You’ll manage subcontractors, coordinate works, and act as the key point of contact between the project team, client, and suppliers.
Key responsibilities include:

Overseeing all on-site activities from initial setup through to handover
*
Leading site meetings, scheduling works, and managing subcontractors
*
Maintaining exceptional standards of health, safety, and site compliance
*
Monitoring progress, quality, and cost control throughout the build
*
Ensuring strong communication across the supply chain and project team
*
Managing site documentation, reporting, and snagging processes
What We’re Looking For
*
Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial refurbishment or fit-out projects
*
Strong leadership and organisational skills with a proactive approach
*
Excellent communication and the ability to drive performance on site
*
Solid understanding of health & safety legislation and best practice
*
SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certification essential
*
Full UK driving licence
