Overview


We are currently recruiting a Cert IV Signal Technician to certify, fault find and maintain rail signalling equipment and systems.





Location-          Sydney, NSW


Duration-           Contract (Long-term)


Hours-              40hrs/week – Rotating Roster





Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance activities, fault-finding and troubleshooting on signalling assets and electronic components on the rail network e.g. Point Machine, signals
  
• Document inspections, repairs, and modifications for compliance purposes.
  
• Collaborate with controllers and other rail personnel to minimise disruptions during maintenance or emergency repairs.
  
• Ensure equipment is safe and meets electrical safety standards
  
• Restore signalling assets after an incident
  

Required Experience

• Electrical Licence
  
• Cert IV Rail Signalling (from company such as CA, HRD, TAFE, QR)
  
• RIW Card
  
• Drivers Licence
  
• Must be able to pass Cat 1 Medical
