Artistic Windows & Doors has an opportunity for experienced individuals to join our Service / Customer Care team. A successful candidate will have prior experience with window and door manufacturing and/or installation, mechanical aptitude and be willing and eager to invest time and energy in training, to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to be a window service technician. Must have a valid driver's license. Pay will range based on experience.
Key Functions:
The successful candidate will participate in on the job training to enable them to perform the following functions:
• Receive, and organize service calls.
• Repair and maintenance of custom wood and steel windows.
• Glazing (removal and installation of insulated glass)
The following qualifications are :
• Good communication skills
• Quality oriented
• Must be proficient in the use of hand and power tools and precision measuring and test instruments
• Must be team oriented
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a group
• Ability to work in extreme heat and cold
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Willingness and ability to learn new jobs and skills
• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours.
• Willingness and ability to travel to Tri-State area. N.Y.C. / N.J. /CT. (with company service vehicle).
• Past employment in a wood manufacturing facility or window installation company
