About the Role:
As a Service Advisor at Midas, youll be an essential part of delivering top-tier customer service. Youll guide customers through the service process from start to finish, ensuring they receive timely, professional, and courteous care. Youll also work closely with our technicians to make sure all service requests are executed to the highest standards. Your communication skills and customer focus will be key to ensuring each customer has a seamless and positive service experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly and professionally, ensuring they feel valued and welcome.
- Needs Assessment: Listen attentively to customer concerns, inspect vehicles, and provide accurate and thorough service recommendations.
- Service Estimates: Prepare detailed, comprehensive, and customer-friendly repair estimates, clearly explaining necessary services.
- Collaboration with Technicians: Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure repairs are completed on time and to specification.
- Customer Updates: Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles and proactively address any questions or concerns.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions, service approvals, and work completed.
- Front Office Management: Help maintain a clean and organized front office and customer waiting area, ensuring a positive atmosphere.
- Customer Service Excellence: Uphold Midas commitment to exceptional service, ensuring customers leave with a positive experience and are eager to return.
What Were Looking For:
We are seeking a Service Advisor with a strong customer service background and excellent communication skills. Automotive knowledge is a plus but not requiredwe are happy to train the right person. If you are organized, efficient, and passionate about helping others, we want you on our team.
- Proven Experience: Previous experience as a Service Advisor, customer service representative, or in a similar customer-facing role is .
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to explain technical service details in an easy-to-understand manner to customers with varying levels of automotive knowledge.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, manage time efficiently, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Automotive Knowledge: Basic automotive knowledge is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with automotive service scheduling software and repair systems is an advantage.
