Core Roles & Responsibilities:
As the Senior Vice President of Construction Operations, you play a pivotal role within the Leadership Team, overseeing project management, field operations, safety, and prefabrication functions in ICS's commercial construction division.
· Lead, manage, and hold accountable project executives, the field operations leader, safety leader, and the prefabrication leader.
· Ensure the achievement of gross margin goals and identify cost-saving opportunities in project execution.
· Guarantee timely project completion and identify opportunities to streamline operational processes.
· Maintain a focus on delivering high-quality work safely and consistently providing excellent customer experiences.
Primary Duties:
· Participate in establishing company-level strategic plans as a key member of the Leadership Team.
· Coach, mentor, and guide project executives, the field leader, safety leader, and prefabrication leader.
· Establish and track key metrics to proactively guide decisions including priority setting and resource management.
· Collaborate with the controller to oversee the financial performance of all construction projects.
· Hold project executives accountable for results ownership, providing guidance and support as needed.
· Support the field leader with finding opportunities to enhance production rates and meet manpower needs.
· Collaborate with the safety leader to instill a safety-first mindset company-wide.
· Optimize the benefits of prefabrication, ensuring alignment among estimating, preconstruction, and operations teams.
· Work with sales and preconstruction leaders to ensure estimates reflect appropriate production rates to achieve target margins.
· Collaborate with the HR leader to maintain top-notch onboarding and training programs for continual learning and development.
· Continuously refine operational processes and implement systems to ensure consistent adherence by team members.
· Lead and maintain contract review and compliance protocols, ensuring teams are aware of relevant contract provisions.
· Make high-stakes decisions, balancing customer experience with protecting the company against unnecessary risk and loss.
· Engage external legal resources to proactively resolve issues and disputes.
· Perform other duties as required to support the company's success.
Experience Requirements:
· At least 15 years of commercial construction experience
· At least 5 years of experience leading, managing, and holding Project Executives and/or Project Managers accountable
· Experience and interest in navigating contentious issues, leveraging legal resources, and making high-stakes decisions
· Proven results in establishing and optimizing processes and associated trainings, ensuring consistency and compliance
· Experience overseeing mechanical, piping, and plumbing design and installation - direct production oversight experience is a plus
· Experience with planning and optimizing offsite prefabrication and assembly is a plus
· Experience identifying and implementing new enterprise-wide technologies is a plus

Salary: $195,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
