Job Description

Our client is a well known and established Main Contractor specialising in the construction of new build social housing schemes across London and the South East.\n\nDue to continued expansion, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Site Manager to work alongside the Project Manager on a newly acquired project in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.\n\nProject information:\n\nProject Value - £39Million   \n\t\n102 units\n\t\n2 x RC Frame\n\nReporting to the Project Manager you will be responsible for managing the construction of a development, including all associated pre commencement works, ensuring that targets are met regarding health and safety, delivery to build programme quality, customers care, and cost.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nEnsuring compliance on site.\n\t\nCo-ordinating labour and resources on site\n\t\nManage material levels on site to ensure the minimum amount of stock.\n\t\nEnsuring that all plots are built to the highest standard of quality.\n\t\nUndertaking company directed quality control procedures and inspections.\n\t\nMonitoring and controlling the cost of production, and approving payment to contractors and trades where appropriate.\n\t\nInitiating and attending plot inspections with the Local Building Inspector.\n\t\nCarrying out toolbox talks or similar on-site briefings.\n\t\nLiaising proactively with other internal departments, externals suppliers and partners to ensure the build programme is achieved\n\t\nTo deliver a high standard of site presentation at all times.\n\nSuitable candidates must have:\n\n3 / 5 years as a Senior Site Manager\n\t\nResidential Contracting experience\n\t\nStable career history\n\t\nValid CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, Scaffold Inspection etc\n\t\nRC Frame experience\n\nOn offer:\n\nBasic salary up to £80,000\n\t\nCar allowance - £6,000\n\t\nHoliday entitlement\n\t\nBonus
