Senior Ranger, Environment and Science

In this role, you'll play a key part in driving the protection of one of our most wonderful places. The only mandatory requirement for the occupant of this position is to hold an unrestricted manual driver's license, however the ideal candidate will have:• Team management, fire, pest, compliance and asset management skills and experience.• Sound understanding of the legislation, policies and procedures governing Queensland parks and forests.• Ability to undertake a varied work program, including administrative work as well as various types of physical duties.• Ability to foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of First Nations people, and actively engages through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations people.What's in it for you? • Enjoy a varied and interesting work program where no two days are the same.
