Job Description

Senior Quantity Surveyor\n• Oxfordshire\n• Up to £80,000 + Package\n• January 2026\n• Permanent \n\nA Senior Quantity Surveyor is required by a principal contractor for a variety of construction projects in Oxford and the surrounding areas.\n\nThis is a fine opportunity to join an established business with a proven record of delivering a spectrum of projects including residential, commercial, education and retail. \n\nResponsibilities include:\n• Procuring & negotiating subcontract packages\n• Placing subcontract orders, \n• Carrying out subcontractor valuations, \n• Authorising subcontractor payments including issuing all relevant notices\n• Managing & controlling variations \n• Issuing all relevant notices as deemed necessary to both subcontractors and client\n• Final account settlements\n\nSkills and Attributes Required \n• Minimum of 10 years' quantity surveying experience \n• Able to demonstrate proven experience with a principal contractor. \n• Degree in Quantity Surveyor and / or MCIOB\n\nThis position is known as Commercial Lead, Quantity Surveyor, Commercial Manager.
