Senior Quantity Surveyor - Nuclear & Defence
Rate: Dependent on experience | IR35: TBC (preferably inside)
3 days Manchester / 2 days North Wales
We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take the commercial lead on a major UK nuclear decommissioning project - a pioneering scheme transforming complex infrastructure and creating long-term environmental benefit.

What you'll do
Manage all commercial activities across the project lifecycle
Prepare valuations, applications for payment and cost reports
Lead risk, cost control and change management
Oversee procurement, tendering, and supply chain contracts
Provide expert contractual and commercial advice
What you'll bring
Minimum 5 years' post-graduate experience in construction
Strong commercial acumen and knowledge of construction contracts
Skilled negotiator with excellent communication and reporting skills
Degree in a RICS / CICES-accredited discipline (Chartered )
Able to work 3 days in Manchester and 2 days in North Wales
