Position: Senior Project Manager\n\t\nBase location: Central London (projects within the M25)\n\t\nContract type: Permanent\n\t\nSalary: £ neg (DOE) + package\n\t\nSkilled Careers contact: Mark Dixon (Maidstone branch)\n\t\nVacancy reference: 83962\n\nThe company:\n\nThis main contractor delivers Design & Build contracts for a host of clients nationally and are primarily focused envelope refurbishments.  They're known for quality delivery, strong client relationships and professional leadership which is driving the business in the right direction.\n\nThe role:\n\nAs a Senior Project Manager within this business you will be responsible for managing the larger, more complex schemes with values reaching up to £25m in value from pre-start through to client handover.  Your role will include:\n\nProducing contract and construction programmes.\n\t\nInvolved driving PCSA activities.\n\t\nSetting strategy and resource requirements.\n\t\nManagement of your project team (Site Manager, Logistics Manager and a RLO)\n\t\nAttending interviews and presentations.\n\t\nAttending Design Team Meetings\n\t\nEarly logistics planning.\n\t\nAttend all pre-starts\n\t\nProviding input into procurement.\n\t\nChairing subcontractor reviews.\n\t\nStaff appraisals.\n\t\nProduction of reports.\n\t\nChairing Project Review Meetings (client) and attending internal CVRs.\n\t\nEnsuring projects are compliant with Employers Requirements.\n\t\nEnsuring handover packages are complete and full (O&Ms, statutory certificates etc)\n\t\nProject expert through defect liability periods.\n\nWhat are they looking for\n\nA construction professional that is either experienced in the role of a Project Manager with Tier 1 or 2 main contractor.\n\t\nProven track record in with a Main/Principal Contractor.\n\t\nManaged teams within schemes that have delivered projects up to £20 million.\n\t\nSound knowledge of JCT contracts and PCSA agreements.\n\t\nWorking knowledge of Asta Power Projects and can deliver lifecycle programmes (this is essential).\n\nWhat's on offer\n\nA competitive starting salary + package.\n\t\nWorking in a supportive, professional team environment.\n\t\nWorking within a well resourced business that is focused on quality execution of projects.\n\t\nWorking with a company that has a consistent pipeline of projects
