Role Overview:

We're searching for a technically-minded Project Manager who possesses an acute attention to detail and a strong aptitude for solving problems. This role will be pivotal in turning briefs into realities, working alongside our dynamic team. The candidate will not only lead projects from the point of sign-off but will also ensure the impeccable quality of the project’s production delivery. With vast experience in large-scale AV projects, our ideal candidate exudes remarkable leadership, impressive interpersonal skills, and remains a positive influence and calming presence even under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:

• Take charge as the project lead immediately after project sign-off, overseeing its evolution until final delivery.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, factoring in timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring no detail is overlooked.
• Collaborate closely with the wider team to transform client briefs into awe-inspiring realities.
• Collaborate extensively with designers, Technologists, and other stakeholders, ensuring the project aligns with technical and creative visions.
• Work with the account manager to validate potential projects’ feasibility and profitability based on client needs and technical constraints.
• Ensure on-budget delivery, constantly monitoring costs and project progress.
• Lead post-project debriefs with the wider team, ensuring learnings are captured and applied to future endeavours.
• Lead and manage key project milestone meetings, making sure the appropriate individuals are well informed and all documentation is ready. 

Technical Oversight:

• Bring extensive experience in large-scale AV projects to bear, ensuring projects meet the highest standards.
• Possess and apply an in-depth knowledge of video technologies such as projection, video wall, lighting, rigging, and fabrication.
• Offer solutions to technical challenges, leaning on a problem-solving aptitude and a refusal to make assumptions without validation.
• Remain updated with the latest in video and production technologies.
• Identify and manage any risks associated with a project, ensuring they're communicated and mitigated effectively.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Serve as the primary liaison for clients, maintaining open and transparent communication.
• Convey project statuses, technical solutions, and updates to internal teams and clients proactively.
• Address and resolve any concerns or feedback efficiently.

Team Collaboration:

• Cultivate a synergistic team environment, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all team members.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, enhancing their technical proficiency and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 2  years experience in a production or technical project management role.
• Demonstrable expertise in video technologies, including projection, video wall, lighting, rigging, and fabrication.

• Exceptional organisational skills with an acute attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Familiarity with CAD software and its applications in project design and execution.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A Passion for immersive and digital art is a big plus. An interest is essential. 
• Demonstrated ability to handle and carry out multiple projects simultaneously, to work under pressure and in a team;
• Someone who keeps a cool head in challenging situations and can be a calming influence on the team.
