Senior Process Engineer
Location: Seaford, DE (On-site)
Salary Range: $75K-$95K (DOE)
About the Role
This on-site engineering role supports a manufacturing environment focused on precision processes and high quality standards. The Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for improving production methods, supporting daily operations, and ensuring documentation and procedures meet strict industry requirements. The position offers the opportunity to influence process design, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to ongoing operational improvements across the facility.Key Responsibilities
- Develop, monitor, and improve all manufacturing processes
- Review and disposition non-conforming material in accordance with industry and customer specifications
- Manage order processing, including creating detailed drawings, fixturing, and process routings
- Maintain all engineering documentation (drawings, procedures, routings, and work instructions)
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and technicians
- Interface with suppliers and customers as needed
- Support internal and external audits, including preparation, execution, and corrective action follow-up
- Participate in staff, continuous improvement, and management review meetings
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in an engineering field (equivalent experience considered)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and 2D AutoCAD
- Understanding of belt furnaces, fixture design, stamping, coining, machining, welding, electroplating, and hermetic sealing methods
- Experience with ERP or MRP systems
- Familiarity with AS9100, ISO9001, JEDEC 9, MIL-STD-883, and MIL-PRF-38534
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
