Senior/Principal Sustainability Consultant 



Location: London



Salary: £50,000 - £75,000 DOE



We are looking for a passionate Senior or Principal Sustainability Consultant to join our client’s London-based team. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of sustainable design and decarbonisation, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams on innovative projects across the built environment.



Key responsibilities:



Lead and deliver small-scale projects independently.

Facilitate workshops with clients and design teams, communicating complex ideas clearly and confidently.

Carry out a range of modelling and technical analyses, potentially including: embodied carbon, circular economy studies, building performance simulation, operational energy assessments, renewable energy , and overheating analysis.

Manage environmental assessments (BREEAM, WELL, HQM, etc.) from concept to completion.

Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear, timely and collaborative project delivery.

Mentor and support the development of junior team members.

Contribute to achieving net-zero whole-life-carbon outcomes on projects.

Prepare design deliverables such as specifications, drawings and schedules.What we’re looking for:



In depth knowledge and experience of: Energy strategies, Building Regulations Part L assessments (Elmhurst / IES), BREEAM and HQM assessments, NABERS UK,

Hold a relevant degree and possess specialist expertise along with a strong personal commitment to sustainable design.

Ability to perform dynamic thermal modelling, comfort assessments and overheating risk appraisal

Communicate clearly, work proactively and demonstrate genuine enthusiasm for sustainability.

Feel comfortable leading sustainability workshops and engaging confidently with multidisciplinary design teams.

Knowledge of net-zero carbon strategies and embodied-carbon analysisBenefits:
