C&I Engineering is looking for a talented and driven individual to join our team!

About the opportunity: Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to help us achieve our company's mission. This individual will work in the Power & Controls department with a team to accomplish design goals. C&I is an employee-owned, full-service engineering design firm providing engineering/design/project management, and procurement services to various clients. Primarily, C&I serves the industries of oil & gas, food & beverage, and distilled spirits.

Responsibilities include:

• Design and specification of instrumentation and controls for oil & gas, petrochemical, Food & Beverage, or other related facilities.
• Perform instrument-engineering calculations, including control valve sizing calculations and flow element calculations.
• The Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer prepares complete design packages, including the scope of work that meets design intents and customer expectations.
• Coordinate project scope and work with other engineering disciplines.
• Assists in the development of P&IDs and creates typical electrical and instrumentation design documents.
• Must be able to lead multi-disciplinary projects, including directing and monitoring support staff.

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an ABET-accredited engineering program with a minimum of 6 years of related work experience, or a bachelor's degree or higher from an ABET-accredited engineering technology program with 8 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to travel domestically or internationally to offices, vendor shops, and project sites. Travel may be up to 10% to 20%
• Must comply with drug-free workplace requirements.
• Must be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) and pass any required background checks.
• Safely performs work in accordance with C&I and client requirements.
• Valid Driver’s License

Qualifications that set you apart:
