If you’re looking to take the next step in your career within a company that offers stability, progression, and the chance to make a real impact,\n\nJOB DESCRIPTION: SENIOR PLANNER\n\nDuties & Responsibilities: \n\nPre-Construction\n\nReview and comment on client programme\n\t\nReview team programme to include:\n\nConfirmation of logic / sequence\n\t\t\nCrane usage\n\t\t\nLabour resourcing\n\t\t\nCashflow\n\t\t\nCritical path analysis\n\t\t\nIdentify float within overall programme\n\nReview TES\n\t\nReview design programme\n\t\nSign off and approve programme suite\n\nReview and comment on client stated programme duration, phasing and sequencing\n\t\nInput / advice on sequence and durations, inc.
hook / cycle times – programme produced and owned by PM\n\t\nEnsure that logic works and critical path is present and understood\n\t\nEnsure float is identified and we are presented with a true “nett” programme at tender settlement\n\t\nSign off construction and design programmes ahead of tender settlement\n\nNOTE: Production and ownership of programmes remains the responsibility of the Project Manager / Operations Director\n\nOperational\n\nReview team dropline on programme\n\nDropline\n\t\t\nCritical path analysis\n\t\t\nResource levels\n\t\t\nForecast impact\n\nAudit of project programme reporting to include\n\nTES\n\t\t\nDesign Program\n\t\t\nOffsite manufacture and works\n\t\t\nConstruction works\n\nSupport teams with\n\nPreparation of sub-contractor contract programmes for procurement / orders\n\t\t\nImpact of change\n\t\t\nSequence review to mitigate delays / changes\n\nCommercial / Contract\n\nReview and support in\n\nDevelopment of as built programme\n\t\t\nSub-contractor claims and EOT applications\n\nEOT\n\nPrepare EOT programme for issue to Client teams\n\nReporting\n\nPrepare monthly summary programme to include\n\nProject position and performance against contract programme\n\t\t\nDifference between audit position and team position\n\t\t\nTrend analysis\n\t\t\nKey package performance and issues\n\t\t\nResource review planned -v- actual\n\nMonthly programme audit for each live contract. To be coordinated with CVR dates\n\t\nTo include:\n\nConstruction – current position and forecast\n\t\t\nDesign – with input from Design Director / Design Manager / Tech Servs Dir.\n\t\t\nSub-Contract Design and Installation programmes – with input from Des Dir. / Tech Servs.
Dir.\n\nAdvise on programme impacts for change control, including alternative programme proposals / solutions. advice to client before / after change\n\t\nAdvise Ops Dir / PM on programme for EOT process\n\t\nAdvise / comment on key supply chain programmes, as required, ahead of placement of key orders (Facades, MEP, Structural Steelwork, Sub-structures and so on)\n\nReporting\n\nProduce summary reports for monthly board meeting on programme performance for each live contract including short / long term forecast\n\nProcess\n\nDevelop and agree appropriate processes and procedures with Operational Board to standardise across business:\n\nProgramme templates / borders\n\t\nProgramme Resources / calendars etc. to be used\n\t\nReporting formats\n\t\nAppropriate levels of programme governance
