About the Role

As a Senior Piping Engineer, you will take ownership of piping engineering activities for subsea and topside systems within APL’s turret mooring solutions. Your responsibilities include piping design, 3D modelling, and preparation of engineering deliverables. This is a key technical role within the Process and Piping Department, contributing to the delivery of safe, reliable, and innovative offshore fluid transfer systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general piping engineering for offshore projects.
  • Model piping systems in E3D and deliver high-quality 3D designs.
  • Prepare piping isometric drawings, layouts, and general arrangement drawings.
  • Design and specify pipe supports and documentation.
  • Review piping models and ensure alignment with discipline requirements and cross-discipline interfaces.
  • Ensure designs comply with client requirements, industry standards, and applicable class rules.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary reviews to develop safe and reliable piping design.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure alignment on technical expectations and requirements
  • Develop piping material specifications.
  • Establish piping test procedures and support fabrication through technical follow-up and quality assurance.

Qualifications & Skills

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Knowledge of and strong interest in piping engineering.
  • Technical background from offshore or marine industry projects.
  • Proficiency with 3D modelling tools such as E3D, PDMS, or Plant 3D.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
