A leading international engineering consultancy is seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical-Piping Engineer to support a major infrastructure programme based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This long-term role is part of the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team, overseeing the delivery of mechanical works for large-scale water infrastructure projects, including pipelines, valve chambers, and pumping stations.

Role Overview
As Senior Mechanical-Piping Engineer, you will be responsible for supervising and verifying the installation and quality of mechanical systems including pipelines, pumps, valves, and hydraulic equipment. You’ll oversee design compliance, testing, and commissioning processes while coordinating with multiple disciplines on-site to ensure successful execution.

Key Responsibilities
• Supervise installation of pipelines, valves, pumps, flow meters, and mechanical systems
• Review and approve shop drawings, datasheets, hydraulic calculations, and material submittals
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, and I&C teams for interface planning
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, QA/QC procedures, and mechanical codes
• Participate in equipment inspections, hydrotesting, flushing, and commissioning
• Resolve mechanical-related technical issues and support field adjustments
• Validate as-built drawings and mechanical completion documentation

Requirements
• BSc in Mechanical Engineering from a Western-accredited university with 15+ years of relevant experience
OR MSc in Mechanical Engineering with 12+ years of experience
• Chartered membership in a recognised engineering institution (mandatory)
• Extensive experience in pipeline construction, pump stations, and mechanical installation
• Strong knowledge of ASME, API, AWWA, and international mechanical codes
• Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)

Preferred
• Experience in treated water or wastewater infrastructure projects (preferably in the GCC)
• Familiarity with SCADA-integrated mechanical systems
• Background in variation analysis and mechanical commissioning
