Miller-Remick, a full-service MEP engineering firm, is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and innovative individual for a Senior Electrical Engineer position. In addition to the basic qualifications listed, the successful candidate shall possess the skills required to successfully develop and execute project tasks and deliverables, be a collaborative team player, handle multiple complex tasks, establish and manage priorities, and have a strong drive to deliver a quality project for customers.
Our clients include federal agencies (Dept. of Veteran Affairs, Dept. of Defense, GSA, Federal Bureau of Prisons, state, and local governments). Projects have varied degrees of complexity and a wide range of estimated construction costs and include hospitals and healthcare, military bases, federal buildings and courthouses, state and local government buildings, research laboratories, central steam and chilled water plants, corrections facilities and site utility infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities: We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer for the planning and coordination of multi-discipline project teams. Candidate must be a quality-oriented individual to perform electrical engineering investigations/assessments of facilities, design building electrical systems, specification preparation, project and construction cost estimates, project scheduling for engineering projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor (BS) or Master (MS) in Engineering
- P.E. license with 8 years’ experience in electrical engineering
- Knowledge of all applicable Codes
- Experience with power, lighting, security, telecom systems, emergency generator design
- Building Information Modeling using REVIT
- Medium voltage experience is a plus
- Leadership qualities are a must
- Traveling as required to client sites
