ERM is looking for a Hydrogen / Process Safety Expert to join us as a Senior Consultant in Frankfurt, Germany. The work location for this role is flexible and other office location as such Hamburg, Munich or Cologne can be discussed. This role will require fluent English and native Germany language skills. Ideal candidate We believe that the right candidate will be someone who is passionate about supporting the clients through the transition to a low-carbon economy and has prior experience working in process safety. We also need you to have some experience in technical and safety aspects in electrolyser technologies, fossil to hydrogen fuel switch and/or hydrogen transport. You are enthusiastic about working in frequently changing situations, environments and diverse cultures and be able to travel frequently. Language skills is essential to this role - you will also be fluent in English and native, in German. Role Responsibility The Senior Consultant will act as the Project Manager and support the successful delivery of ERM proposals and projects in line with our vision, values and our strategic imperatives. Your role will be primarily focused on project delivery whilst contribute to client relationship development and business development. Main responsibility can be described as following (not limited to): Adhering to all ERM and client requirements, specifically those related to health and safety and governance Manage and deliver technical and process safety projects for a variety of clients and sectors with a focus on training, audits, risk assessments, safety studies and reviews (including HAZID/HAZOP, QRA, LOPA, Bowtie, ATEX, machine risk assessments etc.), major accident hazard assessments and other areas of technical safety Lead HAZID/HAZOP workshops Work with our international hydrogen team on innovative projects and concepts for the generation, transport and supply of hydrogen as a key element in the transition to a low-carbon economy Collaborate within the global ERM network and participate in international programmes and projects in process safety and technical safety Prepare effective technical proposals and take an active role in developing new business with existing clients To Apply We aim to build an "inclusive culture" by identifying, acquiring, developing and retaining a highly skilled and high performing workforce which reflects the diverse global marketplace in which we operate, regardless of gender, ethnicity, religious preference, sexual orientation, physical attributes, educational background.
