We’re looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Clients Bunbury or Perth based team.

The role responsibilities include:

• Design coordination for selected projects or components of projects, collaborating with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design.
• Providing technical advice for all aspects of civil design including bulk earthworks, roadworks, drainage, constructability and interfaces with other disciplines.
• Managing effective and positive stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally.
• Providing direction to the project team and promoting awareness of technical and commercial risk assessments/mitigation.
• Working with and mentoring junior engineers, designers and drafters and guide them in delivery and their professional development.
• As required, providing direction to the civil design team.
• Preparing calculations and checking design drawings and models to ensure they align with applicable standards and specifications.
• Preparing study and design documentation, technical specifications, and project deliverables.

What you’ll have

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering.
• Extensive civil engineering experience delivering resource and infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated technical acumen with proven experience of managing and delivering design solutions.
• Track record of effective cross-discipline project delivery and an effective collaborator with all key engineering disciplines.
• Capacity to lead and mentor junior engineers across technical and project delivery aspects.
• Previous experience across scopes involving roads, drainage and pads for mining infrastructure and facilities.
• Experience in preparing engineering calculations, and checking design drawings and models.
