This is a wonderful opportunity to join my client, an innovative, industry-leading Multidisciplinary Consultancy looking to broaden their geographical reach by establishing a brand new office location in Scotland. Renowned for lending their expertise to an array of high-profile projects across the landscape architecture, planning, and civil engineering fields, they are actively searching for a capable, enthusiastic Senior Civil Engineer with extensive knowledge of infrastructure design who is willing to take on a diverse array of challenging projects. You will be working with a newly-established team of infrastructure design experts, based in the ancient, green city of Dunfermline.

Responsibilities for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:
Contributing to an array of engineering developments in a design capacity
Overseeing the day-to-day running of engineering projects, from initial inception through to successful delivery and implementation
Mentoring and supporting colleagues
Liaising with clients and other stakeholders, across the public and private sectors
Preparing and checking reports, specifications, drawings, calculations, risk assessments, and method statements
Adhering to company policies, procedures, and best practice, upholding the appropriate health and safety standards at all times
Acting as a company representative at client meetings, site visits, etc.
Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:
A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
Hold Chartered Status with a recognised professional body
Experience of working in a design-based role, within a UK consultancy
Considerable experience of working on infrastructure (highways and drainage), housing developments, and energy projects
Experience of earthworks and drainage network modelling
Proficient in the use of various software packages (to include Civils 3D, MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, and similar)
Demonstrable experience of writing and amending a variety of reports for submission
Considerable experience of client and stakeholder liaison
Excellent organisation, time management, team leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:
A Master's Degree (or higher qualification) in Civil Engineering
Some experience of authoring Flood Risk Assessments
Prior experience of preparing Transport Assessments
Previous experience of leading projects/teams
Experience of working in a public-facing role
Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
