Title: AWS DevOps Technical Leader

About the role: As our AWS DevOps Technical Leader, you’ll be the driving force behind our infrastructure strategy and execution. You’ll work cross-functionally to ensure our systems are scalable, secure, and developer-friendly.

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead all infrastructure and DevOps initiatives end-to-end—from strategy and architecture to implementation and scaling.
• Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure for high availability, performance, and security.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
• Enhance developer workflows and environments for seamless productivity.
• Implement observability across the stack with robust logging, metrics, and alerting.
• Identify and resolve infrastructure pain points; introduce automation and best practices to reduce operational overhead.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, ML, and Product teams to align DevOps with company goals.

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Proven experience in a lead or senior DevOps role, owning major infrastructure initiatives.
• Deep expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, containerization, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CDK).
• Strong background in CI/CD, cloud- architecture, and developer tooling.
• Familiarity with cloud data stores (Postgres, S3) and data pipeline management.
• Excellent collaboration skills with a track record of leading cross-functional efforts.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure monitoring and cost optimization.

Pluses:

• Experience working with healthcare data or in health tech.
• Fullstack development experience (especially JavaScript/TypeScript/Node.js).
• Background in data engineering and MLOps.
• Prior experience at a high-growth startup or consultancy.
• Familiarity with compliance-heavy environments (HIPAA data or similar)
• A College Degree in Computer Science
• Recent/Current/Next Level AWS Certifications and Training.
• Experience mentoring or managing a small team-AWS.
• A College Degree in Computer Science
• Current-Recent AWS Training and Certifications.
• Experience Mentoring other AWS Engineers.
