Job Description

As a Security Officer - Construction Site in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, offering exceptional customer service and communication while upholding our values of reliability, agility, and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following security-related procedures and site policies at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, adhering to site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business, including interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and verifying credentials as required by site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents and daily activities, maintaining clear and accurate records for Allied Universal and client use.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate, following established protocols to manage various situations.
• Work closely with site staff and law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns within the financial institution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is .
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is .
• Customer service experience is .
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is .
• Be at least 18 years of for unarmed roles; 21+ years of for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
