Client Overview:
Our client is a leading innovator in the personal care industry, developing and manufacturing high-quality products that combine science and creativity. They collaborate across multiple departments, including Technical, Manufacturing, Packaging, and Marketing, to bring new and improved products to market. They are looking to hire a Scientist - Product Formulation (Personal Care) to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$30/hr - $35/hr

Position Overview:
The Scientist - Product Formulation (Personal Care) will be responsible for planning, developing, and improving personal care products through formulation, raw material testing, and product optimization.

Responsibilities of the Scientist - Product Formulation (Personal Care):

• Develop new formulations and reformulate existing products under management guidance.
• Maintain detailed laboratory notebooks and ensure database accuracy.
• Conduct stability testing and monitor key parameters.
• Label and submit samples to Marketing according to SOPs.
• Manage multiple projects with strong prioritization and organization.
• Research and evaluate new raw materials for potential use in formulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts as needed.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Required Experience/Skills of the Scientist - Product Formulation (Personal Care):

• 5 - 10 years of experience in personal care product formulation.
• Strong organization, communication, and technical writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.

Experience/Skills of the Scientist - Product Formulation (Personal Care):

• Knowledge of industry trends and emerging raw materials.
• Experience with stability testing and formulation skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline is required.
