Position Summary
As a Sales Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in optimizing our sales processes and supporting our sales team in achieving their targets. You will be responsible for managing sales data, analyzing performance metrics, implementing sales strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive sales excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop and implement sales strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
- Sales Analytics: Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Present actionable insights to the leadership team.
- Sales Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts to support resource allocation and inventory planning.
- Sales Process Optimization: Continuously assess and improve sales processes to enhance efficiency and productivity. Streamline lead-to-close processes and implement best practices.
- Sales Tools and Technology: Evaluate and implement sales tools and technologies to improve the effectiveness of the sales team.
- Sales Training: Develop and deliver sales training programs to ensure the sales team is well-equipped with product knowledge and sales skills.
- Sales Reporting: Create and distribute regular sales reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales team performance.
- Sales Compensation: Administer sales compensation plans, including commissions and bonuses, to motivate and incentivize the sales team.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, finance, and customer support teams to align efforts and achieve company-wide objectives.
- Budget Management: Assist in the creation and management of the sales department budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience as a Sales Operations Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales automation tools.
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
