Sales Manager East Europe, CIS, Turkey

The Sales Manager East Europe, CIS, Turkey will be responsible for developing and leading the execution of sales strategies, which will drive profitable growth for the Precision Fluid Control business in the assigned territory and/or special market, develop and implement standards for productivity, customer-service, and quality of service, use of sales collateral tools.

  • Manage Sales Channel - Develop and maintain customer direct sales, distributor, and representative organizations within established geographic and product/market parameters
    • Territorial Concerns and Solutions - Represent the territory/special market concerns to Sales and Marketing in the solution of the concerns, issue corrective/preventative action as appropriate
    • Monitor Accounts Receivable - Monitor accounts receivables to support the programs and efforts of the accounting function for timely payments
    • Distributor/Representative Performance Evaluation - Conduct annual sales channel performance evaluations
    • Direct Customer/Sales Channels/Special Market Sales - Increase sales within the defined territory by maintaining the present customer base as well as actively pursuing new customers; build long-term relationships to ensure strong revenue pipeline
    • Training - Responsible for assuring the technical competence of all direct customer and sale channel organizations within geographic areas of responsibility
  • Market Knowledge - Gather and disseminate market information to Marketing Department and within Sales Team regarding regional economic conditions, trends in market activity and technology, changes in customer behaviors, growth opportunities and competitor actions
    • Regional Forecasts - Develop regional sales forecasts and communicates changes to the Director of Sales, Americas on an ongoing basis
    • Market Intelligence – Continuously monitor market activities within assigned industrial markets and key markets within the defined territory and communicates this information on a routine basis to Marketing and within Sales
    • Processes and Information - Provide sales, maintenance and application processes and related information to sales channel organizations and direct office personnel
    • New Product Development – Generate ideas, and elicits ideas from sales channels and customers, for new products and services; actively participate on New Product development teams as assigned
    • Competitive Intelligence – Monitor and communicate competitive information to Marketing and Sales, including competitor strategies, tactics, pricing, key customer activities, and product information
    • Liaison - Serve as a liaison between the business unit and its sales channel organizations to ensure timely and smooth transfer of information between the organizations
  • Promotional Strategies – Support the development of promotional strategies to provide increased Precision Fluid Control visibility and market penetration
    • Product Promotion and Communication – Support the development of advertising and promotional ideas to support the incoming order plan including strategies for new product introductions and divisional growth expectations.  Participate in selecting appropriate periodicals for advertising
    • Seminars and Trade Shows - Plan and conduct technical training and seminars, participates at trade shows and in other activities to facilitate sales growth
    • Engineered Solutions - Conduct marketing and sales activity focused on identifying customer problems and communicating solutions to those problems to the customer base
  • Territorial Expense Budget - Develop and maintain travel and other territory related sales expense budgets within the parameters of the annual department budget



  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Chemical/Electrical Engineering (or similar)
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the selling of industrial products and management of industrial sales channel organizations
  • 2 years technical/mechanical experience in relevant industry sector
  • Demonstrated practical skills to accurately work with numbers, formulas and calculations
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate (verbal/written) effectively with customers, suppliers,
  • English fluent
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a cooperative and team-oriented environment
