Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator Assistant to join our team in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and data management skills, with advanced experience in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, formulas, and reports) and other Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Safety Coordinator in implementing and maintaining safety programs and compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Support daily safety inspections, audits, and documentation of safety activities.
• Track and analyze safety metrics using Excel and other reporting tools.
• Prepare detailed reports, charts, and presentations for management.
• Maintain accurate records of training, incidents, and safety meetings.
• Collaborate with supervisors and employees to promote a safe and compliant work environment.
• Help identify potential hazards and suggest corrective actions.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (required).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data analysis, formulas) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
